Right Now, We Really Need Help With…

We are currently seeking volunteers for the following positions:

Caseworker
We are looking for facilitators, co-facilitators and mentors to work directly with victims, offenders and the community in the aftermath of crime.  Caseworkers must go through our three day training (the next round is April 14, 21 and 22, 2012), have a criminal record check, and be interviewed by the Program Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator.  Typically only those with experience in a related field (e.g. conflict resolution, communications, social work, psychology/psychiatry, etc.) are accepted, but certainly not always.  To apply, please download and fill out the VRJS Volunteer Application Form and email it to office@vrjs.org.

Admin Assistant

VRJS is looking for a part-time volunteer administrative assistant to help out with general office duties on an as-needed basis (likely every other week for a few hours).  To apply, please download and fill out the VRJS Volunteer Application Form and email it to office@vrjs.org.

Researcher
We need someone who can conduct six-month follow-up calls to former VRJS clients.  The successful candidate will have extremely strong communication skills and a solid understanding of restorative justice philosophy and practices.

VRJS Committees
Please go to our Committees page for more information.

To apply for any of these positions, please fill out the VRJS Volunteer Application Form and email it to Shanna Grant-Warmald at office@vrjs.org.
